Mr. Bumgarner has served the energy industry as a lawyer and business executive for more than two decades.

He began his career in 2005 as an attorney with the international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright). From 2011 to 2014, Mr. Bumgarner served as Associate General Counsel for the largest offshore drilling contractor in the world, Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling Inc.

In 2014, Mr. Bumgarner co-founded Port & Bumgarner LLP where he continued to serve Transocean and other leading upstream, midstream and service companies in high-stakes disputes and complex commercial transactions, including commercial litigation, intellectual property matters, corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, regulatory matters and as outside general counsel. 

In 2014, Mr. Bumgarner became an energy investor, entrepreneur and business executive upon co-founding PFC Midstream, a Texas-based natural gas infrastructure company.  Since formation, Mr. Bumgarner has guided PFC Midstream to become an industry-leading last-mile infrastructure company. His responsibilities have included oversight of acquisitions and divestitures of assets, commercial development, strategic projects, sourcing and structuring of capital, and day-to-day management.  Mr. Bumgarner currently serves as President of PFC Midstream, where he focuses his full-time business attention on the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.
